Try this session plan
four small steps, straight from the trainer’s notebook
Keep the session short: three to five minutes, then a sniff break.
Reward the smallest right answer, then raise the bar one paw at a time.
End on a win - finish with something your dog already knows well.
Watch for lip licks or head turns; stress means it is time to pause.
